But, you can show your love for your significant other and have a great time without having to break the bank. Here's some ideas for a great date night on your budget.

Go for a nature walk or hike

Reconnect with nature and each other with a nature hike in the country. Try a hike in the country along several picturesque sites like Bathsheba, St. Joseph, Morgan Lewis, St. Andrew, Cove Bay, St. Lucy and East Point Lighthouse, St. Philip. They're also great sites for photos of you and the one you love. Find your sense of adventure, together.

Get a loaf of bread and feed the ducks

Take a trip down to Codrington College or Kendal Pond in St. John and bask in the rich scenery while feeding the local ducks. If you're going to the Codrington College, its a small fee of between $2 to $5 for walking onto or parking on the premises respectively. But remember to throw in some extra pieces for the fish. There's nothing more calming and romantic.

Movie night at home

Yes Netflix and chilling is still a thing. Turn the lights off, pop some popcorn and put on your favourite movie. Spend your night cuddling under the light of your tv or computer screen in bed. It's a cool night in with you and your boo, so get comfy.

Cook a fancy meal at home

Can't afford a romantic dinner out, then you can still have one at home. Pull up a recipe guide and make your own three course meal at home together or surprise your significant other. Go the whole nine yards with cocktails and candles. You can even set up a table outside and dine under the stars. Pure romance without busting your budget.

Watch the sunset on the beach

Barbados is the perfect place to watch the glorious sunset. Walk hand in hand along the beautiful sun kissed sands. Listen as the waves crash into the shore as the wind caresses your body. It's the perfect way to enjoy the perfect kiss.

Have a game night

Crack out the old monopoly board and get ready for a night of competition with you and your boo. Remember to make snacks and drinks to keep your energy up.
